Hope for the Holidays: 120 parties for families!

As we gear up to celebrate the holidays, let's throw 120 holiday parties for over 120 families facing food insecurity!

Imagine the aromas of a meal of their choice wafting from their family's kitchen, the warmth, music and joy filling their home and then their children get to open a gift as well.

A Slice of Hope is teaming up with St. John's Bread and Life in Brooklyn, NY for their 28th Annual Sponsor A Family Holiday Program.

Every registered family facing food insecurity receives a holiday bag with all the essentials for a holiday meal, plus a $50 gift card to buy their children a special present.

  • A Slice of Hope will donate $5,000 and it is being matched 3 times: by one of St. John's Bread and Life's anonymous donors, as well as by their Giving Tuesday donors. So every $1 becomes $3!

St. John's Bread and Life was one of the original shelters where we began our Parties of Hope. Your generosity will have an immediate impact, bringing joy to children, nourishing families, and creating joy and hope for the holiday season.
